Wake up Zander! It's time for me to ride!

What's in store for rides this year?  Plenty!  Training  has started.  Due to the lousy economy, I am now free to ride 7 days a week.  No cross country trip this year, however, I have high hopes of aiming for a trip in 2010.

I ride by bike in support of the Rocky Mountain Stroke Association.  In June of 2006 my sister suffered a severe stroke.  RMSA has been very supportive to her quest to improve her  lifestyle and help her regain back her independence and confidence.  This association helps stroke victims after regular health insurance coverage runs out.

Please help me raise funds for this organization by offering a contribution through the link on this page or please mail a check today to the association.  Please reference Zandercat, so we can keep track of my fundraising.  Thank you for your support to the association and to my personal quest.  Mary Kay   The is no deadline to make a donation.  It can be done at any time.

March, 2009 The Bicycle Post

It's March and have been able to do plenty of riding.  Sue came out for a visit and drove to Moab with me to attend the Moab Skinny Tire Fest.  We had a great time.  We stopped in Idaho Springs for breakfast, meandered on to Vail, had great soup in Eagle and ended up in Glenwood Springs for a good soak.  Headed over to Moab the next day and had 3 fantastic days of riding.  Day 1 was Potash Road, Day 2 was Dead Horse Point and Day 3 was Arches Natl Park and topped it all off with a massage at Sorrel River Ranch. Check out the photos.  We had a blast hiking with Mary Sue and Karen up to Corona Arch and Bowtie Arch.
